Nadine Hattom & Francis Alÿs et Al | Iraqi pavilion, Palazzo Canalli Franchetti: In an unusual move, the founders of the Ruya Foundation, a Baghdad-based non-governmental body, are pairing ancient artefacts from the Iraq Museum in Baghdad with works by six contemporary artists. The show, with the themes of “water, earth, the hunt, writing, music, conflict and exodus”, is called Archaic.
