130 Amsterdam Institutes Gets Subsidies From Art Fund

A total of 130 Amsterdam cultural organizations will be receiving subsidies from the municipal Arts Plan 2017 – 2020, the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts announced on Monday. One third of these organizations are new to the subsidies list, ANP reports. The Fund received 219 applications for subsidies. Six were rejected because their financial position was well enough that they could survive without a subsidy. These include the Nemo science center, which applied for a 225 thousand euro subsidy, and Pakhuis de Zwijger, which applied for 600 thousand euros… Read more
