The Process of a Life and an artwork. On the edges of empathy: seeking understanding through conversation Through a sequence of interviews, this series explores the intersections of choice, family, circumstance and love in the lives of people who are often seen as dwelling on the fringes of society. The vulnerability of their existence and their sharing unravels a deep humanity, inviting the audience to suspend judgment and simply listen.

‘A Sister’s Love’ is the the first release from ‘Conversations’, a collection of work by the artist Joff. A Sisters Love is made in response to having witnessed the ways in which women in vulnerable situations are taken advantage of, judged and made to feel inferior. How their position in society often puts them in real danger. It embraces the beauty and flow while the dancers fight with the grappling darkness of their environment.
