FIND YOUR HAPPILY EVER AFTER IN NOVEMBER Ceramic connoisseurs are in for a treat during the upcoming Ceramics Month celebrations, as our exhibitions in both the gallery and museum will showcase this wonderfully versatile medium. In 'Once Upon a Time', clay acts as narrator. Participating creatives have shaped their ceramic 'stories' inspired by South African folklore, universal myths and legends, fairy tales, family lineages and personal narratives. In the gallery, we will be featuring an exciting group of artists, some veterans and others new to the world of clay. These artists include: Alessandro Pappada, Alexis Nkhuthazo Dyalvane, Ali Nabavi, Amber Skye Alcock, Charmaine Haines, Deirdre Botha, Ella Cronjé, Gabriele Jacobs, Gabrielle Alberts, Helen Doherty, Jacques Mollentze, Kevin Collins, Martin Haines, Miro van der Vloed, Nada Spencer, Narique Sangster, Patsy Groll, Pieter Heyneke, Rosemary Lapping-Sellars, Sibusiso Mthembu, Siyanda Sipolo and Zanoxolo Sylvester Mqeku. In the CUBE, a group of alumni from the Michaelis School of Fine Art have come together to present what promises to be another superb showing of clay narratives. These artists include: Amanda Rybicka, Gabrielle Alberts, Geena Wilkinson and Philip Barrett. Be sure to join us on the opening day - Saturday, 8 November '25 at 11h00 - to find your own happily ever after.
