A potpourri of budding talents | New Artists Group Exhibition

The Association of Arts Pretoria takes special pleasure in inviting new artists to exhibit their works, often for the first time.  To put their works on display for viewers to admire their artistic endeavours and to discover their talents is a crowning joy of all artists.

For its coming exhibition, the Association invited selected new artists to participate in a group exhibition showing, mostly for the first time, paintings and sculptural works of their own choice.  The submitted works, some realistic and other abstract, have an exciting range of themes, providing evidence of abundant talent and promising to be a feast of visual pleasures.

Participant artists are Elsie de Beer-Weich, Elisca du Toit, Hannie Engelbrecht, Minnie Gerber, Liezl le Roux, Anna Liebenberg, Amora Nel, Riche Art (Cheri van der Westhuizen & Riaan Oosthuizen) and Rensche Schep.

The exhibition will be opened by Andre Naude on Friday 2 June 2017 at 18h30 for 19h00 and runs until Wednesday 21 June 2017.

Anna-Carien Goosen Solo Exhibition | ‘… and then one morning the ground shifted’

The exhibition of paintings and drawings is opened by Martli Jansen van Rensburg on Friday 26 May 2017.

Anna-Carien Goosen is a versatile and accomplished artist who prefers working and experimenting in various media. Her exceptional drawing talents coupled with a fine sense of colour and perspective, are regularly put to use not only to depict a portrait or rather static image but also to convey a definite tale. Her visual narratives are imaginative and exciting and will certainly capture the fancies of viewers.
