FREE ADMISSION TO THE SCULPTURE GARDEN ALL DAY!
Celebrate Garden Day with Norval Foundation! We’re hosting a day of fun and festivities for the whole family. Put a spring in your step and come dressed in your brightest florals. A beautiful day out walking through our stunning sculpture garden while your children enjoy the arts and crafts events on offer. With summer in the air and an opportunity to be outside enjoying fresh air and friends, nature-inspired attire, floral fabrics, and colourful clothes are celebrated.

Time: 9 – 5 pm
Cost: Free garden entrance (entrance for museum is R180 for membership)
Garden Day Open-Air Art: bring your pencils, paints, paper and cameras to create some artwork in our garden. Tag @norvalfoundation in your posts and we’ll feature the best works!
Activities for kids (cost per activity excluding the treasure hunt):
Treasure Hunt the whole day – Discover the art in our beautiful sculpture garden from a new perspective by following clues and completing a mystery phrase!
Ribbon wand decorating (10-11 am) – For all our little fairies and princesses, create and decorate your own unique wand with beautiful coloured ribbon and embellishments for hours of dancing fun.
Tote bag painting (11-12 noon) – Children can enjoy a creative process by painting their own images on a tote bag guided by Community Art Facilitator Zain Nazier
Bead decorating & necklace making (12 – 1 pm)
Flower crowns and posies on sale
Kids play area available

The Skotnes Restaurant will be open from 9-5 pm for food and beverage service

Entry into our #VisitorViews competition: to participate in the Garden Day #VisitorViews competition, entrants must take a picture of themselves with their flower crowns in front of the Garden Day #VisitorViews frame, share it to social media on Sunday, 17 October (post not story) and tag @norvalfoundation @gardenday, and use #VisitorViews #GardenDaySA.
The most creative/colourful photo will be selected and announced by Sunday, 24 October.
