The results of the Tollman Bouchard Finlayson Art Award, AKA the Hermanus Fynarts Tondo competition.

The four judges, Marilyn Martin, Gavin Younge, Willie Bester and Peter Finlayson, were delighted by the standard of the works entered this year with Marilyn – who has judged in previous years – saying that this was the highest level so far. They elected that the prize money should be shared equally between four artists.

One of the winners, Andrew Bassett, is the youngest winner ever at only 20 years old.

The Prize-giving ceremony took place on Friday 11 June 2021
