The Cape Gallery is showcasing “Under Cape Skies”, a solo exhibition by the talented Roelof Rossouw. From seasonal changes to different times in a day, he has captured the sky’s essence and focused on its beautiful vision.
Roelof states, “Painting clear blue skies have always been a problem for me, too much blue. That is why I get very excited when I see clouds. Not only do they create interesting shapes and color, but it solves the blue problem. Another great advantage is that their shadows cast on the landscape below create contrast, drama, mood, and interesting patterns.”
