FynArts is fun also if you are young. The festival presents a great opportunity for children and young people to be inspired, broaden their experience and knowledge of the arts – and of course, to be entertained – outside the school curriculum.

In addition to the great baking workshop, FUNKY CUPCAKES presented by Christine Capendale on Saturday 10 June from 10:00 – 15:30, do encourage your children, grandchildren and their friends to get stuck in and sign up for one – or more – of the workshops below.

Join artist, Blue de Gersigny, and become a part of the plastic solution while creating wearable-art hats from beach plastic collected on local beaches. Participants will enjoy using the variety of shapes, sizes and colours of found plastics to create special art pieces. All materials will be provided.

Alex Hamilton will offer a mixed medium and storytelling workshop for children in Grades 4 – 7. They will explore the magical source of creativity while creating a fantastical world and learning how to harness visual overload.
