Stealing Time: Collecting Photography and the Secondary Market
Matthew Partridge (Art Specialist, Strauss & Co)

In partnership with the AVA and ORMS, Matthew Partridge of Strauss & Co will present a lecture this Saturday, 29 July from 11am to 12pm titled “Stealing Time: Collecting Photography and the Secondary Market” as part of the Photo Focus Project currently on view at the AVA. In conjunction with the project, the AVA will launch their Photo Focus portfolio which Strauss & Co will auction in their upcoming sale on the 16 October at the Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town. The limited edition portfolio includes works by esteemed photographers Jodi Bieber, David Goldblatt, Pieter Hugo, Mohau Modisakeng, Jo Ractliffe, David Southwood, Guy Tillim, Graeme Williams and Nontsikelelo Veleko.
