One of Johannesburg’s most prominent art houses has raised R10 000 for a centre which uses art therapy when working with the youth. Once a light industrial building and now a relic of Doornfontein’s industrial past, August House is the art space of more than 40 pan-African artists; in what could possibly be the most beautiful community art studio in Johannesburg.
