V&A director wants to resign over Brexit vote disillusionment

Martin Roth, who has overseen period of great success at the museum, says UK vote to leave Europe felt like a personal defeat. The director of the V&A, Martin Roth, is expected to resign this week and return to his native Germany in a decision fuelled by his disillusionment at the Brexit vote. Roth was appointed in 2011, becoming the first foreign director of the V&A since it was founded in 1852.
