You Won’t Believe What Leo DiCaprio Auctioned Off Last Night

At the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation’s annual St. Tropez Gala last night, guests were in for a surprise, as actor-cum-artist Adrien Brody‘s charcoal and acrylic on canvas, titled Tiger on Last Legs (2016), was a hit. “This series, mostly fish related, references our culture’s evolution to being ‘hooked’ on convenience and instant gratification, and also has an environmental component,” read the sober description on the event’s website. The auction, which was curated and organized by DiCaprio’s personal adviser, Lisa Schiff, also featured works by Pablo Picasso, Jeff Koons,Damien Hirst, Marc Quinn, James Turrell, and Urs Fischer, among other collectible artists.
